Seal of Brevard County FloridaCocoa is a city located on four miles of the beautiful Indian River (part of the Intracoastal Waterway) in Brevard County Florida at 28°22'10" North, 80°44'38" West. (see Note: for status)

Sailing on the Indian River is possible from Titusville down to the Treasure Coast.  There are regular Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon races on the river sponsored by the Indian River Yacht Club

Other water activities include boating, parasailing, sail boarding, and water-skiing which all go hand-in-hand with the temperate year-round weather.  Salt water fishing in the Indian River is another popular past time as is a day at any of the nearby beaches.
